Hyperion – A new hotel concept for Basel
The renaming of the former Ramada Hotel in Basel's Messeturm tower to Hyperion Hotel Basel was accompanied by a conceptual reorientation of the establishment and extensive modernisation measures.
Hyperion Hotels is the premium hotel brand of the family-run H-Hotels Group from Germany. Working in partnership with SPS Immobilien AG as the owner of the Messeturm and with the H-Hotels Group, Wincasa was once again able to demonstrate its expertise and experience in the successful implementation of large and complex hotel modernizations.
10 floors, 224 rooms, 95 days
The renovation work in summer 2017 was used to renew the building services, modernize existing rooms and introduce the new category of high-quality “business rooms”.
The particular challenge of the project was that the modernization of the 224 rooms had to be completed within just 3 months. The successful and timely execution was made possible by an agile project organization and the trusting cooperation of all project participants.
