New payment slips

On 21 November 2025, new requirements for QR-bills will come into force in Swiss payment transactions.

The most important adjustment is the sole support of the structured address (address type S) in the Swiss QR code, i.e. the division of the sender address (= tenant address) into individual elements. For this reason, Wincasa AG had to generate new QR codes and you have received new payment slips that fulfil these requirements from October 2025.

As part of this process, Wincasa AG is adjusting the internal billing systems in cooperation with individual owners. As a result, some of the bank details will also change. For this reason, the payment slips must be provided with the new account details. We have sent these to you by post.

What exactly will change for me?

On the one hand, this is a technical change that is only visible in the QR code; at the same time, the IBAN numbers are also adjusted in individual cases. The adaptation of the QR code includes support for the structured address.

Please therefore dispose of the previous payment slips and only use the ones we have sent you. Or even easier, set up a standing order directly with your bank using the new QR code.

Why and when will my QR deposit of the rent be rejected?

New requirements for payment details will apply from 1 October 2025. In this context, there have been changes to the QR code and, in some cases, the IBAN.

Please therefore only use the new payment slips with the new QR-bill specifications for all payments from 1 October 2025.

If you continue to use the old payment slips, the payments will be automatically rejected by the banks.

Are my standing orders still valid?

No. Please change your standing order using the new QR code or payment slip. From October 2025, these will be rejected and the automatic reminder process will be triggered. Please adjust your standing orders to the new QR-bills or payment slips.

By when do I have to have made these adjustments?

Please implement the changes by October 2025. Payments with the wrong QR code and/or IBAN number will be rejected by the bank and the automatic dunning process will be triggered.

I still have outstanding utility bills. Which payment slips should I use?

Please only use the new payment slips with immediate effect. This also applies to any outstanding utility bills from months prior to October 2025. For new payment slips, please contact us at: info@wincasa.ch
