Temporary use instead of vacancy in the center of Zurich

rents. After examining various options, the decision was made over the summer to conclude a contract with VeloLoft. This contract was based on the win-win concept.

VeloLoft wanted to open the store as quickly as possible, so the responsible center manager Ronny Hofmann went to VeloLoft's headquarters on a Friday afternoon with the contract and the keys and finalized everything there. The pop-up store opened just a few days later. The CEO of Colag/VeloLoft describes the collaboration with the center management as uncomplicated, flexible and very speedy. The 6 months were also a complete success for VeloLoft. Around 300 e-bikes were sold during this time.

The space is currently being renovated and Switzerland's first ZEISS Vision Center will open there in early 2020. Customers will receive high-quality vision aids from expert opticians using precise measuring and grinding technology.

Successfully managing retail space in the current environment requires creativity and flexibility. Co-creation makes it possible to avoid vacancies and thus also a decline in footfall for other tenants, while maintaining the attractiveness of the location.
