Complete renovation to Minergie standard at Tödihof

Refurbishment of existing properties

The owner commissioned Wincasa's Bauherrentreuhand to renovate the 35-year-old property, which had largely been left in its original condition.

Prior to the renovation, there were major problems with leaking Sarnafil flat roofs and mold growth on the exterior walls, among other things. In terms of the quality of the envelope, the building standard corresponded to the original year. As a result, the property had a high oil consumption and high ancillary costs. The project was developed together with an overall planner. It was implemented on the basis of the execution model with individual service providers. The project was implemented in an occupied state over several stages.

Minergie as added value

In order to achieve the MINERGIE standard, the entire building envelope (windows, façades and flat roofs) was renovated. In addition, the building services were completely replaced and brought up to the latest standards. Inside, in addition to general refurbishment work, the kitchens and bathrooms, including the pipes, were renewed. In addition, added value was created for the residents by enlarging the balconies.

More attractive living

The energy-efficient refurbishment and controlled MINERGIE ventilation created a more comfortable living environment, which also led to a reduction in ancillary costs. The architecture, in particular the kitchens, bathrooms and balconies, is now contemporary. The property has been revitalized and made fit for the next 25 to 30 years.
