Children's paradise “Minicity” in Sihlcity

Due to the increasing competition from shopping tourism and online shopping, it is all the more important to be able to offer visitors an additional benefit.

Interdisciplinary new building
To implement the “Minicity” project, an interdisciplinary group worked on the concept, planning, site selection, construction and marketing. Only through the close cooperation of marketing, technology, center and children's paradise management and the involvement of architect Jan Keller were we able to bring all the expertise together and create a unique world of experience for children on 600 m2.

Added value for tenants, customers and Sihlcity
The resulting, extremely versatile children's paradise meets the needs of different age groups. We have thus created what is probably the most exciting children's paradise in a Swiss shopping center. Both tenants and customers benefit from this:

• Relaxed shopping for parents and a unique leisure experience for children
• Longer dwell time of visitors, especially families, is positive. Not only for the stores, but also for the spa, cinema and restaurants
• Integration into the overall concept: With the relocation of the children's paradise to the top floor of the Sihlcity Mall and the adjacent breastfeeding and changing room, the service is better integrated into the overall concept of the shopping and leisure center.
