In recent years, the Shopping Arena has developed into a center of attraction for all age groups, a place where shopping and leisure merge seamlessly. A diverse tenant mix of 60 international and regional brands, combined with attractive parking and an ideal location, attracts more than four million visitors each year. As a result, over 40 million customers have already visited the largest shopping center in eastern Switzerland in a decade. This means that the Shopping Arena is now the ninth best-selling shopping center in Switzerland.
Wincasa, which is responsible for the center management of the Shopping Arena, decided together with the owner (Swiss Prime Site AG) to launch a new advertising campaign and logo redesign for the 10-year anniversary. After a year and a half of strategic work, market research and development of a new advertising campaign, the Shopping Arena unveiled its new look on March 1, 2018.
The new advertising campaign shows different groups of customers taking a selfie in the environment of the Shopping Arena. The idea is to show that the Shopping Arena is not only a place to shop, but also a place to live, an environment where people meet and spend a relaxed and fun time. And what do you do today if you want to capture a positive moment? You create a self-portrait. This approach is reflected in the advertising motifs.
The logo has been updated to coincide with the new campaign. With the new logo, Shopping Arena wants to have a more concise presence and appear even more modern and confident. Taking a closer look at the logo, one can recognize the “heartbeat,” the awareness that the Shopping Arena wants to always be on the cutting edge for its visitors, but also for its tenants and owners.
